I have read the info in the 3/30 posting about Cingular, but it is still unclear to me what this means. Can we or can we not use NotePager or another application to dial a cingular gateway phone number and send TAP protocol messages to general cingular subscribers?

When I actually try this, I get the following in the log. It looks like the modems are synching up, TAP in initiated and that I am sending stuff to them, but I don't know what the returned "ID=" message means or why the text message is not getting through. Is this an indication of not having the "Enterprise Paging" feature on my account? Will it work if I do?
