| Aaron: I have tried twice today to set this up. Both times I have been told by AT&T that it cannot be done by an individual who is not a "member" of a corporation that has a site license for Enterprise Paging from AT&T.
If you know of another way to do this without qualifying as a corporate licensee, please let me know. |

| If you're going to SELF-PROVISION, do it DURING THE WEEK, NOT ON THE WEEKEND. | |

| I will try AT&T next week when I can get someone who is a regular Business Division service person. Today (Saturday) I got someone who did not know what it was and had to go look up Enterprise Paging.
Maybe the regulars will know something different. Gaspasser |

| I called AT&T to set up Enterprise Paging. It is for Business Clients only. You have to be a corporation with at least 100 "lines" and have an IT department.
It cannot be set up at an AT&T store. So - at this point, NotePager Pro is not a solution for us. I will try a Google or Hotmail account dedicated to the group and use the numbers for email-SMS, <10digit#>@txt.att.net and whatever other carriers addresses there are. Thanks for trying. Gaspasser |

| I am not successful setting up my AT&T PDA phone with NotePager Pro. I have tried SMTP with <10digitnumber>@txt.att.net without success.
I spent about 45 minutes - 1 hour in the AT&T store today trying to get text messaging on my phone. AT&T did not subscribe me to Enterprise Paging, but added unlimited text messaging to my account. Our anesthesiology group is considering using text messaging instead of pagers. We have 20 MD's in the group. It is important to have a rapid message input to delivery time. Here is the connection monitor and dialer log from NotePager Pro V3.0: Log from Notepager Pro: Connection Monitor: SMTP Start connection to carrier: ATT Sending via SMTP Working on message to: XXXXX from: Formatting message Message contained in a single packet Looking up mailserver for txt.att.net Trying host: atlsmtp.cingularme.net Connected to: atlsmtp.cingularme.net Disconnected Message not accepted Failed Attempt To: XXXXX Msg: Test page Dialer Log: 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM ==================================== 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM Start connection to carrier: ATT 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM Sending via SMTP 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM ------------------------------------------------ 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM Working on message to: XXXXX from: 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM Formatting message 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM Message contained in single packet 11/6/2007 6:50:55 PM Looking up mailserver for txt.att.net 11/6/2007 6:51:05 PM Trying host: atlsmtp.cingularme.net 11/6/2007 6:51:06 PM Connected to: atlsmtp.cingularme.net 11/6/2007 6:51:26 PM Disconnected 11/6/2007 6:51:26 PM Message not accepted 11/6/2007 6:51:26 PM Failed Attempt To:XXXXX Msg:Test page 11/6/2007 6:51:44 PM ==================================== Can someone give me some direction in what I need to change to get this program to successfully work?
