Hi,

Solarwinds are claiming that they only support NotePage where you state PageGate is supported. They did point me to a forum where members can only seem to get pageGate working if they use the email module, not the GetAscii module.

If you are correct and say Orion can directly integrate with PageGate then can you tell me where to point the GetAscii module to and how to integrate?

Hi all,

I've setup Pagegate as a service on a windows 2003 box, it's also the same box that runs solarwinds Orion ver 8.5. I've installed the PageGate GUI Client and can send SMS's to my mobile phone fine.

When I setup Orion alerts I can select the PageGate recipient but when I test it using a test alert from within Orion I get an error...

Other Interfaces: Failed - Exception Detail - file not found

I also haver the getAscii module for PageGate.

Can you please help?

Hi,

since I don't know which directory to monitor I just pointed it to the root of C: and I can now enable it so thanks that's great.

However I cannot get Solarwinds Orion to use PageGate, is the directory I'm supposed to be monitoring somehting to do with Orion?

Hi,

I have Pagegate and a valid license for GetAscii and GUI Client modules, my rego details are..

Version 5.0
Serial XXXXX
License 5
Connectors 1
Ticked = Client & GetAscii

In "Run on this server" Shceduler, GetAscii and Connector1 are ticked.

PageGate is running as a Windows Service.

Under "Interfaces - Global - Status" both GetAscii and GUI Client are "Running".

In "Interfaces-GetAscii-Settings" if I try to tick "Enabled" nothing happens, it's not greyed out but no tick appears.

When I add a new recipient under "Enabled Services" only "GUI Client" is enabled, all other services including GetAscii are greyed out and are unselectable.

How do I "Enable" GetAscii ?
