Hello,

been browsing the internet trying to find somewhere to send free textmessages to friends' mobile-phones from my computer. Came across NotePage.com. Have I misunderstood everything completely, or is this a software that allows you to do exactly that,- as a private person-send free textmessages to friends' & colleagues' phones?

Been going through the hole set-up process. but when trying to send a message it won¨t allow it. (using my own-number for testing).

The following message appears:

Start connection to carrier: Netcom
Connect using TAP protocol
Setting communication parameters
Sent: AT<CR><LF>
Attempting to reset modem
Sent: AT<CR>
Attempting to reset modem
Sent: AT<CR>
Attempting to reset modem
Sent: AT<CR>
NotePager Pro was unable to talk to your modem

-- I DON'T HAVE A MODEM.... USING DIAL-UP INTERNET CONNECTION--

Please check your modem port settings (Tools-Setup-Modem)
