Ok, I transferred the file and have all of my previous lists now showing, and the nag screen has disappeared, so thank you very much for that. Now, hopefully last question. I think since I last used notepager (over 6 years), some carrier numbers must have changed. My smart phone is a Verizon Droid... suppose I want to set up a test connection to send myself a text message. What do I choose for a carrier and what protocol? I do appreciate all of your help.

Yes, I did follow the exact download and install instructions. I just now removed it from my computer and reinstalled it once again, and am still getting the same error message: ERROR #6 OVERFLOW IN PROCEDURE: ISFILE

I downloaded the program onto this computer and now as soon as I try to start the program, I am stopped with a Fatal Error:

I realize when I first purchased NotePagerPro, that it wasn't for multiple computers, but what do I need to do to remove it from a computer that I am trashing, to my new computer? I mean, what specific files? It will be leaving an old Win98 and coming to Win7 with 64bit.

A friend and I recently purchased NotepagerPro. I like the program very much so far. My friend would like to set up his version with the same recipients, groups, and carriers as I have on my computer. As much as I might like to think I know about computers so far, I have to admit that I am still very file challenged in some aspects. Could you please tell me what data files I need to send to him so that he has exactly the same setup that I do now? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Neverrrrr mindddddd.. I answered my own question through trial and few errors... :) yes,, your program works very well, and I have already recommended it to others in my group. My congrats on a very fine piece of software.

yes,, sorry, me again.. :) Quick question? If I send out a group page, and the members of the group have different kinds of pagers, and cellphone....some numeric only, some alphanumeric, will the program be confused, or will it switch back and forth from one carrier to the other, and successfully send the messages out?.. some will be number only for the numeric, and some will have instructions that are typed out for the text receivers. If not, would I be better off then, to try to keep the groups separated , and have the pages only go to the group with Cook pagers that are numeric only, then send to the others individually? Thank you in advance for any help on this, Sharon or whoever is lucky enough to draw me again. :)

Oops.... problem solved... I could make up any number of excuses here, but the sad fact is, I was using my normal email address for the domain, instead of the actual domain. :)

I just tried sending a text message to my Verizon Cellphone, using SMTP protocol, and still nothing. I tried this earlier today with no luck either. Do you have any other thoughts on this? I am using my computer to send out all of my messages. I do not have a phone connected to it. I have DSL.
