Does the notepager pro client support Secure Communication through HTTPS?

I am able to connect fine with wctp http/port 80 with the following:
wctp.att.net/WCTP port 80

However, when I change the port to 443 connection fails.
Note: replaced phone number with numberxxxx
Note: verisign vertificate on wctp.att.net is valid.

These are the two settings available for AT&T
WCTP
http://wctp.att.net/WCTP port 80
https://wctp.att.net/WCTP port 443
