We currently use a custom system and are upgrading to Northrop Grumman CommandPoint. They have a TAPI interface and one called InterfacePoint which sends XML.

We currently use the GetASCII interface with our Computer Aided Dispatch system.
We are upgrading and are being asked if PageGate will accept TAPI or XML to a webservice. Does PageGate 8 support one of these? |

I don't want to keep that many files, as we process about 1000 per day.
If anyone else is in a similar position, I created the batch file below and scheduled it with Task Scheduler. Just change ASCIILOCATION to your actual location. REM Remove Paging files older than 7 days forfiles /p "C:\ASCIILOCATION\bad" /s /m *.* /c "cmd /c Del @path" /d -7 forfiles /p "C:\ASCIILOCATION\good" /s /m *.* /c "cmd /c Del @path" /d -7 |

Is there a file limit on the good and bad folders that GetAscii uses or do they need to be manually cleared on a regular basis?

We are currently replacing our paging server and upgrading from version 6 to 7 PageGate. When I put the new server in place, our Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system running on OpenVMS writes files to an NFS share, but with the Hidden Attribute. Get Ascii doesn’t see the files marked as hidden and doesn’t process them. When I remove the Hidden Attribute the files process correctly.
Is there a way to allow Get Ascii to see hidden files? |

I'm upgrading to PageGate 7 on a new machine and found instructions below on how to do so.
I just want to ask if I will still be able to run version 6 on the old machine for a few days while I am setting up and testing version 7. |

Program Halted. Error# 10053 Connection is aborted due to timeout or other failure in Procedure: SendSMTP
We are unable to send SMTP Pages. No Changes were made before this error began occurring. I have tried rebuilding the database and creating a new SMTP carrier. |

I'm moving my workstations into a separate VLAN from the PageGate server.
What ports does the pagegate client need to connect to the server? Also for the remote monitor and pagegate admin to run on a workstation, what ports are required to connect? |

At this point, I've checked the "Send Subject" under the Recipient and it is still hapenning. I then Unchecked "Send Subject" and it is still hapenning.
I opened the User table and all Users have "Send Subject" set to zero. |
