| Things have been working fine, then suddenly last week, pages stopped going thru to the intended recipients. When viewing the logs, they appear to send fine, but no one is getting thier pages. The problem seems to be for all carriers we send to. Here is a sample of a sent page that was not recieved:

| We run the note page program off of a network drive that is shared by several people when they logon to a computer. We installed note page pro onto each pc's local drive, as to allow the dll files to be at each station, however when sending pages, they access the program from the shared drive, so that they have the latest recipient database available. It is possible for more than 1 person to be logged in and accessing note page pro at the same time, but that doesnt seem to affect when the duplicate messages are being sent. When looking at the sent message log, and also at the log as the messages are being sent, it only shows it going out once. | |

| I need help trouble shooting a problem that we have always had in NotePage Pro; but which seems to be growing in frequency.
When we send out text messages to cellular phones, we would occasionally have the person tell us that they recieved the same message twice. Lately, it seems that almost every message that is sent is recieved twice by the device it is sent to. I have even seen times when we send 1 message, and the recipient gets the message 4 times. Is this a known or common problem, and if so, is there an easy solution? Jim S |

| OK, so things were working well for about a year or so, but about a month ago, ALL messages to Verizon cell phones started failing. I have the latest version of NotePage Pro, and I havent made any changes in our settings. Below is a paste of what happens when we attempt to send a message.
It is critical that we get this working again, as most of our personnel are using Verizon phones. Any help would be appreciated. | Recently, I have been getting the "message failed" popup after sending messages. In the history, it shows that the page did not go thru and lists it as failed, but the connection monitor shows it was accepted successfully and the person being paged is telling me that yes, they recieved it. Any idea what is causing this, and how i can correct it?

| So, after reading all the sudden new topics about people having issues with Sprint, and having them myself, can someone please tell me a work around to the problem?
I had been sending out the pages using the messaging.sprintpcs.com SMTP and now all messages have stopped going thru. Yes, I know it isnt the most reliable, but I am not aware of any SNPP or WCTP protocols for them. So, anyone have a solution for me to page Sprint phones, other than using TAP? The computer I am using does NOT have a modem, or availability to a phone line, but it does have a high speed connection to the internet. Jim S |

| Thanks for the quick reply.
The one person from our department that has administrative access is currently on an administrative leave, and doesnt have a return date set. Looks like I will need to get MIS to come over to login while I make the changes. (That is a lot harder than what it sounds though, heh.) Jim S |

| NotePage Pro has suddenly stopped saving my setting changes that I make. Examples include, I selected the "hide preset buttons" and "hide options button". I then apply it to all users, and it appears to work fine. But as soon as I close the program and then reopen it, they have returned. I also set the "Send Username" as "%LoginName%" and it appears to save and work fine, but as soon as I close the program, and reopen it, the username field has been cleared and is blank.
Any ideas? It is crucial that I have the username to work, the buttons are just a cosmetic annoyance. Jim S |

| Hello, i have a couple of questions...
1.) I installed NotePage Pro about a week ago, onto a common drive that is shared by all computers in the department, it was working fine at first. On the second day, I minimized it on my computer, and it went down into the system tray as normal. Later, when I needed to send a page, I could not get it to come back out of the system tray. Clicking, double clicking, right click and left clicking, nothing would happen. When i attempted to open it again, it told me that the program was already running. When i went to my task manager, it showed as running and responding, but the icon in the system tray would not respond to any actions. Any ideas what could cause this? I have tested it on the other computers and things work fine, only this computer has the issue. 2.) Also, I had to install the program on each computer, due to it appearantly writing some files to the registry and windows directory on each individual pc. I have noticed on all but 1 of the computers, when pages are sent the "sent from" field in the history file have the login name of the person using that computer, however on the 1 PC, it leaves it blank. This occurs no matter who logs onto this PC. Any idea what would cause it to be left blank on just this one PC? 3.) Because I have it installed on a common drive, would i only need to purchase 1 license if i decide to buy? Or would i need a seperate license for each PC? Thanks Jim S |

| Is it possible to attach a signature to every message that is sent? What I am looking for is to put the message "Please Acknowledge Page" at the end of every page that we send out.
I know that I can put it as a preset button, but I would rather not do that, as I currently have disabled the preset buttons for viewing. Thanks, Jim |
