To get the credentials, you have to login to the Business Notification Center, current link: https://bnc-businessmessaging.att.com/#login

Once logged in, on the left side, go to admin, then organization settings.

About half way down the page is "SNPP Credentials".

Click "Generate Credentials".

The first thing you'll want to check is the protocol negotiation logs. If you open PG Admin and go to Program - Global Log, it will show you a record of which connectors handled what messages.

Once you find reference to the missing messages, you should see lines like this:
PGDial1 SUCCESSFUL
PGDial1 FAILED
and so on

That lets you know which connector log has the protocol negotiation and that's your next step.

In PG Admin, go to Connectors - The Connector that handled the message - Log

Use the clipboard button and paste it in to a text editor for easier reference, then search for the missing messages. You should see the protocol negotiation with the EMAG host.

If you need assistance going through the logs, please email a copy of the log files located in c:\PageGateData\Logs\ to support at notepage dot com

I'm not sure what else to try.

You might consider looking into more purpose-build hardware like a cellular modem or gateway. Something like the MultiTech MultiConnect Cell/rCell 100 series.

The archive import back in version 7 can be relatively slow and I suspect that it isn't hung up, it's just taking a long time to process the data due to the volume of data there is to process.

Also, any time you want to update the archive, make sure to run the archive process on the server itself first as it will run much slower on a workstation.

One thing you could could try is moving the archive files out of the archive folder, then drop in smaller collections of them that can be processed more easily until the entire archive is processed.

If it truly does hang up after every archive import attempt, please zip your database and the archive and send them to support at notepage dot com

As OzCom mentioned, based onw hat we can see int he connector log, it looks like the MS fax server is unavailable.

Just to double check, if you check the MS Fax server itself, is the IP the same as what PageGate is referencing?

Are you seeing any specific CMS errors in the connector log?

Also, if you would, please email a copy of your connector 1 log to support at notepage dot com

To find the log, go to Program - Settings in PG Admin and it should display the location. The specific file's you're interested in are pgdial*.log (pgdial1, pgdial2, etc)

The PGv6 client won't be able to reference the PGv9 server's database and will provide an error indicating that the database is in an unrecognized format.

You'll want to upgrade all users before they can get back to sending pages.

Steps for automated deployment of the PageGate Client can be found in the Installation - PageGate GUI Client - Windows 10, etc instructions - Promptless Automatic Installation section of our documentation:

The best thing to do would be to download and install PGv9 on the new server, then transfer a copy of the PGv6 server's data over and convert it.

Here's what you'll want to do:

1) On the new server, use these steps to install PGv9:
https://www.notepage.net/videos/pagegate-v9-installation.htm

2) After the installation, right click on the shortcut for PageGate Admin and select 'Run as Administrator'

3) Specify where you want the database, log and archive directories to be or you can leave them at their default locations.

3a) When you click Apply, if any of the specified directories don't exist, it will ask if you want to create them which, of course, you do.

3b) It should then say a new database has been created and PageGate must be restarted. Click OK.

4) On the old PGv6 system, grab a copy of the database (pagegate.mdb). The default location is c:\PageGateData\Database\ but if you open the PGv6 Admin and go to Program - Settings, it will display the file's location in the "Database Directory" field.

5) Paste the PGv6 database in to the PGv9 database folder, overwriting the existing file.

6) Run the PGv9 Admin.

7) Tell it yes, you do want to upgrade the database.

8) Enter your PGv9 registration key when prompted.

9) Use these steps to switch PGv9 to run as a Windows Service:
https://www.notepage.net/videos/how-to-run-pagegate-as-a-service.htm

10) Shut the PGv6 server down.

If you need any assistance along the way, please let us know and we'll be happy to help.

It depends on what your ATM security/simulator has the ability to do. So, we know it can generate the codes but in order to send them, we need to understand what methods of delivery it supports.

For example, if it natively supports HTTP GET/POST, you could potentially use any number of SMS aggregators like AWS SNS, Twilio, MessageBird and so on.

This is also where our program PageGate could accept message triggers from the ATM security/simulator and then deliver it using protocols/methods that the ATM security/simulator doesn't support.

What does your ATM security/simulator support?
