We currently use PageGate Version 4.0 to text page our police officers. Our primary communications means is the internet using SNPP. However, when the SNPP connection goes down our officers cannot receive messages. Does PageGate have a FailOver whereby if one service is out it automatically tries another i.e. land-line dialer? What is the Failover function in the Recipient Settings?

Found the answer - really easy to do.....

Does PageGate have the capability to send pages to carriers over the internet rather than thru dialup? We seem to get better response from carriers throught the internet than through dialup. Seems like their phone lines are constantly busy requiring constant redials.
