Great. I just need to install it on one terminal and I plan to use just a regular GSM handset to dial in to our TAP server. However the speed is extremely slow as we all know....
The other option I was considering is connection directly via our internal network to our SMSC. The only issue is getting our IT department to allow me to do it.
The main function is just to send out mass sms to a distribution list when we have major network outages.

Hi,
I am looking to create a solution where I could use Page Gate to either connect via our corporate TAP server via a GSM modem. Or perhaps by other means. The important thing is to be able to send SMS over SS7 to GSM mobile devices on our network.
However I am not sure which software to use or what the best solution would be.
I may be able to get a direct link to our smsc via our intranet. If not I will use our tap #.
Anyone have any suggestions on what a good solution would be?
