I want to use a SMTP relay alternatively to the default ic-relay.materna-com.de. Unfortunately the one I have in mind requires authentication. How can I configure this with PageGate 5.0.8 ? I couldn't find anything which would allow me to define user credentials for that.

I use the PageGate Mail server only. So the mails are sent to it directly.

I use PageGate Version 5.0.8 on Windows Server 2003 R2. I quite frequently experience the issue that the GetMail Module seems to hang. In the Monitor it is shown red while it should be green. The Windows Service is running. If I shutdown the PageGate service only GetMail remains "running". If I restart the PageGate service GetMail remains red in the Monitor. If I shutdown the PageGate service and than also manually shutdown the GetMail service and than restart PageGate finalyy GetMail comes back to live collecting all mails which have arrived in the meantime.
What can I do to solve this ?

I set the "Enable PG Admin Security" + "Enable GUI Client Security" Option without adding a user in the "Users" section. Now I can't get into the Admin again. What can I do ?

I'm evaluating Pagegate Version 5.0.8 on a Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard server. Currently it's the only application running on it. I can install it fine and run it as a service with a local admin account. So far so good.
I just cannot get the PGMailServer to run. anytime I start PageGate in the PageGate Server Monitor it continously says "Asking PGMailServer service to start".
In the Windows Event log it then says:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7034
Date: 26.06.2008
Time: 09:24:28
User: N/A
Computer: D-MONITOR
Description:
The PageGate Mail Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 18 time(s).

In the Application log it says (not as often):
