I recreated the group and the matching name in my software and ran another test with the same results. Below is the header from the document that my software created and was picked up by your GetAsci function. This file was processed by your software and sent to the "bad" directory.

That is correct. When I right-click on the group and manually send a message from inside your software the message is sent successfully to both numbers.

I have been sending faxes using a single fax number and this works fine. I now need to send a fax to 2 fax numbers at the same time. I have created a group and placed the two numbers in that group. However, when I send a fax to with the first line of of the getascii document as the group name the message is not processed and is sent to the "bad" directory. What do I need to change?

I have exported recipients, groupmembers and carriers from my existing installation running Pagegate V6. I have installed V7.0.20 on a new server. When I attempt to import these files I receive an incompatibility error. Is there a solution to this?

ALSO - when I am ready to bring the new server on line I plan to migrate the IP address from the current production server to the new server. Can I simply transfer the existing license from the V6 server to the V7 server? If not, what do I need to do to register the new software?

We are trying to eliminate our use of the VsiFax product and move our Faxing to Pagegate along with our existing paging. We are generating our Pager messages from a Computer Aided Dispatching system and sending the message via the GetASCI function in PageGate and this works perfectly.
Using VsiFax we generate a dispatch "run ticket" (fax document) that is placed in the polling directory where Vsi Fax reads a header in the document that contains the FAX number to call.
My question is, is there a way to create a document to be faxed that will be placed into the GetAsci directory that will contain the FAX number to be used? If this is possible, will you please send me the expected format along with the format of the file name, including the file extension.

Is there a script or other way to move my users and groups from my current V5 to a new installation on a new server with V7 installed.

PageGate v4.0 - appears to randomly shut down the scheduler and server services.
Last night at 00:00:01 the scheduler log shows 2 entries as follows:
- Initiating clearnup routines
- Module stopped.
There are no other log entries to indicate a problem.
After looking at the logs I used the applet to stop and restart the server. This all worked correctly and processed the 150+ pages that had been entered via GetAsci since midnight.
(Note - the Pagegate server service showed running in services however was not running (in red) in the PageGate monitor.

Thanks for your telephone support this afternoon. After we hung up I restored the database, set the GetASCI to start and started the applicaiton. Everything (including Connector1) started correctly. I next shut down the server and changed the applicaiton to run as a service. I then strated the applicaton and everything started correclty. I put in a test call and all pages were sent correctly via Connector 1.
This call can be closed - again thanks for the prompt support.
P.S. - I notcied that when the services were created only the PageGate servicd was set to stasrt automatically. The other three were set to start manually. Is this correct? I have set all of them to start automatically after reboot but would like you to confirm that this is correct.
