Any idea why it doesn't appear in the system tray?

I am running NP Pro on a Win2000 server in conjunction with Solarwinds Orion system for alerting.
The NP icon has disappeared from the task bar although the program is still running. I know this because I cannot start a new NP program. Obviously I need to cancel the running program first but I cannot see it running anywhere.
Assuming that it is a service, does anyone know what the service name is?

Why is it that everything stops when I go on annual leave?

I have not been receiving messages since the 1st Aug, but the main problem is what happened to the icon in the task bar?
I am unable to open the application to check the configuration (what service is it by the way) and when I try to restart it I get a message :-
'Duplicate Application - Another copy of Notepager Pro is already running'

I have de-installed and re-installed several times but it keeps happenning.
I have the latest version and run it on a Win2k server.

It's driving me nuts........
