Integration with ExtraHop
PageGate integrates with ExtraHop Discover and Command using the GetMail interface to receive email notifications for SMS distribution.
Step 1 — Create an Email Sub-domain
Create a sub-domain off your main domain (e.g. paging.example.com) and redirect its MX record to the IP address of the PageGate server.
Step 2 — Configure GetMail
- Open PG Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetMail — Settings. Check Enabled.
- Enter your sub-domain in the Local Domain field (e.g.
paging.example.com). Alternatively, use the internal IP address of the PageGate server. - Click Apply. Enable for all groups and recipients when prompted.
- Go to Program — Settings. Check GetMail. Click Apply.
Every recipient and group in PageGate becomes a valid email address on the sub-domain. Configure ExtraHop Discover and Command to send alerts to the appropriate address (e.g. Alerts@paging.example.com).
