Integrate with Existing Applications
PageGate can be easily integrated with CA Unicenter NSM by using the GetAscii interface's command line integration.
The first step is to create a directory for the command line executable to reside within. If PageGate is installed on the CA Unicenter NSM system, we recommend creating c:\PageGateData\Unicenter\. If PageGate is installed on a separate system, this can be a directory shared on the Unicenter system or a directory shared on the PageGate server for Unicenter to reference.
Configure PageGate's GetAscii Interface

Now that PageGate is ready to accept alerts from Unicenter, define the clients/systems to be monitored, then create an Event/Alarm rule referencing sendpage32.exe in the GetAscii integration directory. Reference the CA Spectrum documentation ↗ โ specifically "Working with Events and Alarms" and "How to Use Procedures in Event Processing".
