Integration with Alston Tascom
PageGate integrates with Alston's Tascom systems using the GetTAP module. Tascom outputs the TAP protocol which GetTAP accepts via serial connection.
Configure the GetTAP Module
- Open the PageGate Admin. Go to Interfaces — GetTAP — Settings.
- Set the Serial Port field to match the COM/Serial port the Tascom system is plugged in to.
- Specify port settings to mirror the Tascom system:Baud Rate: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Parity: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Data Bits: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Stop Bits: [Mirror Tascom setting]
Init String: direct - Check Enabled. Click Apply. When prompted, enable for all existing groups and recipients.
