How do I configure an SMTP Carrier in NotePager Pro?

1) Left click on Carriers.

2) Left click on Add.

3) Name the carrier what it needs to be (VerizonSMTP, T-MobileSMTP, CingularSMTP, etc).

4) Set the protocol the: SMTP

5) In the local domain field, input the latter half of your email address. When the program sends an SMTP based message, the person that receives the message will see that it's from yoursender@localdomain - So, if you put blah.com in the local domain, they would see that the message is from someone@blah.com

6) For the next section, you may need to contact your network administrator if you're not sure what to do here. Basically, you need to know if you have to relay all of your email through a local server of if you can deliver mail through your DNS. If you can deliver your mail through DNS, find out what your primary and secondary DNS entries are and enter those into DNS Server 1 and DNS Server 2. If you have to use a relay, move the dot next to the 'deliver through' option, then enter in the relay server you were given into the Relay Server box.

7) Click on Apply.
