Hello,
All our smtp recipeints are not receiving their messages. This is what I see in the logs.

Curious about the user unknown error. OPERATIONS is the user name logged in on the computer. The sender field is %LOGINUSER%. Is the SMTP server authenticating the sender?

Correct. The SMTP server you're delivering the messages through, intramail.cis.cat.com, is checking the value passed in the Mail From command against a list of email addresses on the server. If the Sender value doesn't match an existing email address on the SMTP server, it's rejecting the SMTP request with the "User Unknown" message. |

How can I change the the sender value?

From your original post, it sounds like you're using the PageGate Client to send your message. Go to the File - Setup section of the PageGate Client and you can modify the Sender's Name variable there. |
