Sometimes when a message is sent from PageGate, an error message is displayed. The error states
ERROR!!! No valid users specified.
The Group or Reipient that the message is sent to still receives the message. WHy is this message displayed?

That was an issue with some older versions but should be working in the latest version.

Which version of PageGate are you using? Please check the file properties of PGSched.exe for the EXACT version number.

The PageGate version we are using is 4.0.1.0. Do I need to upgrade to a newer version?

I would recommend that you download the latest PageGate version and also replace (and edit) your existing GetWeb template files with the versions contained in the download.

Then generate new web pages for each Recipient/Group.

I work in the IT department with Matt, and just have a couple of questions regarding the upgrade.

It looks like the file version does change slightly from what we originally installed, 4.0.0.8 to 4.0.0.9. I have not done the upgrade on our production web server yet, just on my laptop where I was originally evaulating/testing the product.

If we do the upgrade on our production server, will we immediately have to modify all of the GetWeb templates, or will the existing still work with the product upgrade?

Also, we have about 170 groups with individual GetWeb templates for each group. Is there a simple find/replace of text that we can do in each template, or do we have to go through the drastic step of re-coding each template based on the new GetWeb templates included with the product upgrade?

You should not have to upgrade if you are running 4.0.0.8.

Please contact Technical Support via email at forumsupport@notepage.com.

Please include your name and a telephone number.
