I would like to call webgate.exe directly using an adhoc user to send a page to a list of users using the pin numbers. The documentaion I have tells how this works via web page post, but not a direct call. If possible, what is the syntax to do this? I can send a page to a single user directly using webgate.exe.

Are you trying to run the "webgate.exe" CGI program directly from another program on the same computer, or via the web/webserver?

I am making calls via the web (actually within our internal network). I have some application code running on an application server which are making calls to the PageGate server which hosts a small web site where the webgate.exe program is installed.

Try using this as an example:

http://127.0.0.1/scripts/webgate.exe?USER=adhoc&SUBJECT=1234567&FRM=sender&MSG=This+is+a+test

Item Descriptions:

http://127.0.0.1/scripts/webgate.exe? - The URL for webgate.exe.

USER=adhoc& - The Adhoc recipient name in PageGate. Each Carrier will have an individual Ad-Hoc recipient with a unique name.

SUBJECT=1234567& - The recipient ID/Pin is the "subject". Multiple ID/Pins can be sent in the same call, separated by the characters "%2C" (without quotations).

FRM=sender& - The Sender's name

MSG=This+is+a+test - Message Body Text
