Getmail: ' in subject of e-mail pages & Chr(39) &

I am using Pagegate version 4.0. I've noticed that an e-mail with an apostrophe in the subject line appears to be modified by Pagegate (I'm assuming the GetMail module). The apostrophe becomes ' & Chr(39) &' in the page (including the surrounding apostrophes). I realize Chr(39) is actually the ASCII value of the apostrophe character. Do you know why this is happening and is there any setting in Pagegate to fix this so that an apostrophe in the subject of an e-mail/page remains simply the ' character? Thank you very much.

There is a newer "GetMail" executable which now handles apostrophes in the subject line correctly.

It may be downloaded from our web site:

1.) Download and unzip the file "pggmail.zip"

2.) Stop GetMail (using PGAdmin under 'Interfaces' - 'GetMail' - "right click, select Stop")

3.) Rename the existing "PGGMail.exe" to "PGGMail.exe.old" (usually found in C:\Program Files\PageGate).

4.) Copy the unzipped "PGGMail.exe" to the same directory as the existing file.

5.) Restart GetMail ('Interfaces' - 'GetMail' - "right click, select Start")
