Here is my log file when i try to connect to my TAP number for SPrint. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong and what No Carrier means? Thanks

It looks like your modem and the TAP terminal are not handshaking correctly.

First I would remove the Dialer Initialization string.

Then check your Carrier settings.

Try using 1200, 7, Even, 1 and "(auto)" detect the init string.

If that fails, try 300 7, Even, 1 and "(auto)" detect the init string.

You can even try 2400, 7, Even, 1 and "(auto)" detect the init string.

We have been successful connecting to that terminal at those three Baud Rates.

If you continue to receive "NO CARRIER" in your log, manually select Initialization Strings (while using 1200 Baud), working your way down the list.

Send a message each time you select a new Carrier Init String.

I did all the things you askewd and still nothing. I sitll get the No Carrier message. I sent the email like you said and i have not heard anything back from Tech support.

Received customer's e-mail. Contacting by phone to troubleshoot. Will post resolution.
