Pagegate using SNPP,WCTP and SMTP

We are using Pagegate to deliver text messages using the mentioned protocols.
The receiving paging device that we use get confused if it receives continuous messages.
For that reason we need to "space or delay" subsequent paging messages in at least 2 secs.
Are there any settings in which we can set this automatically.

We need a solution ASAP !

The only thing I can think of that may help is, on the carrier setup screen set the Msg Limit setting to 1. This will force a new connection for each message instead of sending multiple messages in a single connection.
