Hello,
I'm looking for a paging solution that will integrate with Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 -- does your product support this?

Yes, Pagegate can be integrated with Microsoft Operations Manager, we've had several clients do it in the past and recent history. |

Great. What do i need to order?
I would like to have MOM trigger Pagegate to send SMS text messages to four people. I plan to install a MODEM for dialing. Will it work with any SMS provider (Verizon, T-moblie, Cingular etc..).
does the application run as a service or does it run in the foreground?
thanks for the prompt response.

You'll need PageGate with the GetAscii interface.
Basically, here's what you'll do:
Configure all of the carriers (T-Mobile, Cingular, Verizon, etc) in PageGate.
Then configure the recipients in PageGate to use those carriers.
Once you've done that, you can set MOM to run a script or a batch file that will call the GetAscii command line interface and pass it a string of variables.
For example, you could have the script or batch file run the following:
c:\getascii\sendpage32.exe <Recipient in PG> <Sender's Name> <MOM Generated Error details>
I'm not sure of the specifics of how to do so but I do know that everything I placed in the <>'s are variables that you can set MOM to pass to PageGate. |
