I am trying to show this to my boss so we can purchase this but I can get it set up to run off of smtp. Can someone help? We use Verizon Blackberries with a vzw.blackberry.net suffix.
Here is the error I keep getting.
Trying host: mx01.bis.na.blackberry.com
Connected to: mx01.bis.na.blackberry.com
Received:220 as24.bis.na.blackberry.com ESMTP^^
Sent:Ehol 10digitphonenumber@vzw.blackberry.net^^
Received:250-as24.bis.na.blackberry.com^^
Received:250-8BITMIME^^
Received:250 SIZE 8388608^^
Sent:Mail From:<rdaughdril@10digitphonenumber@vzw.blackberry.net>^^
Received:501#5.52 syntax error ‘Mail From: rdaughdril@10digitphonenumber@vzw.blackberry.net>^^
Closing connection
Sent:Quit^^
Disconnected
Probably a simple fix so make me feel stupid.
Thanks

If you go into the settings of the carrier you've configured, the local domain field needs to be your sending domain, not the domain you're trying to contact. Generally, you'll want to use the later part of your email address (the bit after the @)
Also, in the recipient settings, make sure you replace 10digitphonenumber with the actual 10 digit phone number. |

What I had to do is, if my email accout was ????@vzw.blackberry.net I used only the "vzw.blackberry.net", but I had to use the person's blackberry email account (????@vzw.blackberry.net) .
Works Great Now.
Thanks for the help.
